Dr. Eyal Emmanuel is a scientist, entrepreneur, and C-level manager within the Ag tech, biotech, and life science industries.
Eyal holds a Ph.D. and an MSc from the Weizmann Institute’s Department of Plant Science and a BSc from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Agriculture, and an M.B.A. from the College of Management, majoring in Bio-Medical Management. .
Served as the VP of Ideation and technology evaluation of Yissum, the technology transfer office of the Hebrew University, and various managerial R&D positions, leading several of Evogene’s core research programs, including being the company Chief Science Officer.
In addition to his roles in Plantae ,Eyal roles as the chairman of the CRISPRIL consortium and a core member at the Global-future council for synthetic biology the world economic forum.
